What CEDIA Awards Actually Mean
CEDIA (the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association) is the global trade association for home technology professionals. CEDIA award submissions are reviewed by independent judges — working professionals in architecture, interior design, and technology integration — who evaluate projects on technical execution, design integration, innovation, and client experience.
Winning a CEDIA award is not a participation trophy. The 2021 CE Pro Home of the Year, for example, was selected from thousands of luxury residential projects completed that year across the country. GWI’s project was the best.
